Have A Scavenger Hunt With Your Kids
You can have a lot of fun with a scavenger hunt in your own home.
Try adding things to your scavenger hunt that spark conversation with your kids.
This is a fun activity to do with your kids that allows you to have conversations about so many things.
Ideas for things you could include in your scavenger hunt would be family pictures, special photo albums or a favorite toy from either your or their childhood.
There are tons of options but the most important thing is to make it an intentional journey of finding things that make you laugh and still tug on the heartstrings.
Do A Family Painting Activity Together
Basically how this works is you give the family the inspiration picture. Then, you all get to work creating the artwork. It is always interesting to see the different versions that are inspired by the same picture.
Paint parties are great because you don’t need any knowledge of painting skills or artistic ability.
The most fun part of painting together is everyone creates their own version of the same image. They are always unique and special.
You can do your family painting activity on canvas which you could buy at your local craft store in budget packs or you can paint on paper.
